Dr. Maria Claudia Alvarado

Dr. Maria Claudia Alvarado is committed to quality patient care. She studied General Dentistry education at University of Connecticut completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She was invited by UConn to become a Clinical Instructor for the General Dentistry department. Dr. Alvarado has advanced training from New York University in Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Alvarado earned her degree in dental surgery from Cayetano Heredia University. She actively continues her education in practicing safe dentistry, learning advanced techniques and stays current with the latest innovations in dentistry.

Dr. Alvarado is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.

Dr. Alvarado enjoys to travel back to Peru to visit family and friends, time out on the beach, and outdoors with her two dogs, Taco and Nova. She also practices taekwondo and ballet in her free time.
